I have read about Win XP patches. Is there one available? I have played OL since Win95 and just installed it on my Win XP computer with the problems already mentioned by others. Anyone have any help?

The things i found helped to run OL in windows XP was these following things: 1) make sure vsync is "enabled" so that the players wont flash 2)Choose windows 98 in the compatability option and run it in 256 colours 3) make sure u have the latest drivers for ur 3d card 4)disable any hotkeys for windows XP so that u wont get booted from game whilst u are in the middle of it (i.e after u press more than 3buttons at once, or the shift key for a period of more than 10seconds) 5) Use MGL drivers for hardwear accelerated video mode, that helped a lot even though it decreased my fps a little bit, but at least it stoped the players flashing all together Thats about all i can remember for now, if i can remember anything else, ill let u know Laters, Burn

The Win98 compatibility worked great. Any way of getting the backspace to work? My kids typed in names that can't be removed, as well as the the wrong IP address in a multiplayer field, and it can't be removed either. Thanks for the help.
