Im wondering what everyone uses..such as do you use aureal 3d sound, direct sound, or multimedia sound. In 1 on 1s i like to use aureal 3d sound, but in everything else such as a 4 way dm aureal 3d sound just slows my fps down way too much. Can anyone help me with this problem??? Anyone having the same issue? Its just with aureal 3d sound it seems like my guns are slower sometimes...definately in big fights. I still want to benefit from hearing ppl walking in the big games but i don't want it taking it out on my FPS..btw im using a Creative Sound Blaster Live! Value...another thing im wondering if i got a sound blaster 16 pci card would that be better for outlaws??? or would a real good sound blaster audigy 2 sound card be better. Im just wondering if in my case better sound equals less framerate..so would the audigy 2 sound card slow my fps down in big fights since the sound is so great on it?? The sound blaster 16 pci is a much worst sound card but im wondering if it be better on FPS in big fights...just wondering. Hope i didn't confuse anyone.

I dont use sound - it dampens your reflexs and you end up shooting just to keep in rythm with thesound. I listen to a good cd and rely on sight of target. People prolly think this leaves my back open to attack, but if people arent in front of me they must be behind me so i trun round. Simple
